I’m Shaun. I’ve spent the better part of my life with tools in my hands, it’s just how I’m wired. I grew up learning from my grandfather, a proper old-school handyman and I’ve always been more comfortable with tools than books. Crafting, fixing, building… that’s always been my lane.

For over 12 years, I worked as a bespoke solid-timber furniture maker, and before that I spent a decade manufacturing and installing kitchens, stone benchtops, glass splashbacks and mirrors. If it’s in a kitchen, I’ve probably built it, fixed it, or carried it up someone’s stairs at some point.

I’ve called the Bay of Plenty home for the past 22 years — working across Tauranga, Mount Maunganui, Papamoa, Te Puke and the greater Western Bay.

These days, I focus on the jobs I enjoy most: kitchen renovations, carpentry, and the everyday fixes that make life easier for homeowners. I’m big on craftsmanship, tidy work, and getting the job done properly — no muck-arounds, no shortcuts.

What sets me apart? Problem-solving and attention to detail. If something doesn’t fit, align, or make sense, I’ll figure it out. It’s what I’m known for.
